On March 1-3, 2010, Jackson, Mississippi will host one of the largest gatherings in the state of persons with disabilities, Mississippi’s 1st Annual DisABLE Emerging Leaders Summit.
With over 150 expected attendees from around the state, this summit is unique in many ways, not the least of which is that it is planned for and by individuals with disabilities. This summit will be focused on educating the participants on the most critical areas identified by people with disabilities and the importance of self advocacy and leadership within the disability community.
